What Causes Spasms In And Around The Temple And Left Ear?

I am having spasms by my temple and above my ear on the left side of my head. They do not hurt however I do generally have a headache by the end of the day. The spasms are not constant only every once in a while. When they do occur I can sometimes feel the if I touch the area with my fingers.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of spasms in and around the temple and left ear which is most commonly due to elevated blood pressure , it can also be a symptom of toothache or ear related problem , sinusitis- which is infection of sinuses or cluster headache or migraine. It can also occur due to condition known as meningitis . I would suggest you to consult neurologist for proper examination . Doctor ,ay order CT scan along with MRI . Doctor may prescribe medicine like vasograine , betablockers along with aspirin . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist for sinusitis like problem .
