Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic
Unprotected sex with an
Hiv positive female sexual partner is a high risk in terms of acquiring the infection.
The chances of acquiring Hiv from an infected female during a single act of unprotected peno-vaginal sexual contact is about 1 in 2500.
Regarding the sores on
scrotum, I suggest a possibility of
Genital Herpes. Genital Herpes classically presents with grouped, discrete, fluid filled lesions Or erosions/sores in the genital region.
The sores in herpes are painful Or have a burning sensation over them.
Presence of genital sores in either of the sexual partners increases the chances of transmission of Hiv, not only because there would be easy access for the virus into the blood stream from infected genital secretions but also if the infected partner has genital sores there would be a higher numbers of Hiv infected blood cells in the infecting secretions thus increasing the
viral load and that would increase the risk further.
I suggest you to visit a specialist for
counselling and screening for HIV and also for confirmation of diagnoss of genital herpes and appropriate treatment.
