What Causes Soreness Of The Inner Ear?

have soreness in my inner ear area at first I thought is was an ear ache used a heating pad it seem to help , bur still have pain when I swallow . Maybe wax trap inside . I just woke up and it was there the next morning. I wear hearing aids any ideas/

Thanks for your question. Use of hearing aids sometimes cause built up of wax in the ear canal. Get an ENT examination done for diagnosis and management.
