What Causes Soreness In Throat,headache And Nasal Drainage?
Went to urgent care 4 weeks ago for sore throat couldn t swallow, white pussy on tonsils, headache, drainage. Had them check for strep in office and came back negative. I didn t feel the nurse swab back of throat just mostly my tongue. I got a little better on week three but throat sore again and can t swallow this week with headache. Still little white pussys on back of throat but a few have red dots on them. Should I go back to urgent care?

You need to visit a doctor as you would require a course of antibiotics, which is a prescription medicine and only doctor can prescribe her. I treat my patients with such symptoms in following ways
1 blood work up for wbc count, haemoglobin levels
2 swab from tonsils for culture and sensitivity for antibiotics
3 tablets antibiotic (augumentin 625mg three times a day for 3 days), decongestant , antihistamine (cetrizine) and analgesic (paracetamol)
4 saline gargles 4 to 5 times a day.
You need to take this treatment for 3 to 5 days for complete relief. Take proteins and vitamins in increased quantity to improve immunity so that you don't get this problem very often.
