What Causes Soreness In The Vagina Post Intercourse?

Hi, After having sex I always get really sore on the outer skin at the base of my vagina. I m not too sure what it s called but I don t know why it keeps happening. I ve tried extra lubrication but I still seem to get sore. Do you have any idea what this might be or any possible treatment?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

I cannot be too sure about the diagnosis but I too am suspecting a lubrication issue. The area you are describing is close to the perineal region and so I am suspecting poor lubrication or a weldl endowed partner whose genitals may be causing unintentional trauma to yours. A physical examination would be most apt, but in the meantime make sure you are as well lubricated as possible and avoid rough sexual contact.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
