What Causes Soreness In The Neck And Swollen Glands?
I have soreness in the back of my neck and my glands are swollen throat bothers when I swallow somestimes I have tremors in my hands numbness in my thighs and hands I have the EBV virius about a 700 in my system I am 53 year old male these symptoms been going on for 3 months now,
You might be having infectious mononucleosis. The virus is found in saliva, so you can catch mono from kissing someone who’s infected. You can also get it from drinking from the same glass or using an infected person's toothbrush. It's also found in blood and semen, so it's possible to get mono from sex, a blood transfusion, or an organ transplant.
It will clear up on its own even without treatment in a span of few months. Treatment is symptomatic. 1. Get plenty of rest. 2. Drink a lot of water and other liquids to stay hydrated. 3. Suck on lozenges or ice pops, or gargle with warm salt water to make your sore throat feel better. 4. Take painkillers like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen to bring down fever and relieve body aches.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
