It s 3 am. I awakened after about two hours of sleep. Experiencing soreness in fingertips of right hand and discomfort in lower inside area of right shin. Checked BP: sys- 126 dia- 83, pulse 80. On recheck to be sure equipment was functioning correctly, reading was 127 / 77 pulse 90. (Verified that first reading was reasonably accurate.) Only other notable symptoms would be general lethargy over the past couple of months. Have pushed through that to continue normal activities. Golf, mowing yard, etc without incident or difficulty. No recent illness. Seasonal allergies. Take generic form of Claritin D- 24 hour, as needed, and have been taking almost every day in past few weeks. Other regular and current meds:Daily enteric aspirin 81mg. Carvedilol 3.125mg twice daily. Simvastatin 10 mg at bedtime every other day. All blood work, over past two or three years normal. No cholesterol issues. History includes a myocardial infarction, about this time of morning, in May of 2012. Angiography at that time revealed coronary arteries like fire hoses - no blockage. No coronary artery disease. Elevated reading of some enzyme at that time revealed I had, in fact, had a heart attack. No damage to heart..
