What Causes Soreness In The Breasts And Frequent Urination With Pcos?

I have pcos and 2 months ago was asked by my specialist to start taking folic acid in preparation for ivf. Over the past week my breast have become very sore and sensitive and I have started to frequently pass urine is this a side effect of folic acid or could it be something else?

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

Soreness in breast can be due to altered prolactin or thyroid levels. Frequent urination is mostly due to urinary tract infection not folic acid. Start urinary alkalizer and do sugar levels.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
