What Causes Soreness In Septum After Taking Antibiotic For Nasal Infection?

I have had a nasal infection years ago which required an antibiotic. Today I have soreness in my nasal septum which feels uncomfortable. No fever as yet and no nasal discharge. Do you think I should go to our walk in clinic before tomorrow to have this checked?

Hello thank you for writing us here.
What I'm suspecting is dryness of the nasal mucosa.
You can use nasal spray which is available in market as solspray or if you wish you can apply petroleum jelly as well which would help and repair the septum. Its easily available and no side effects are seen.

Beat regards,
Dr Gunjan
