What Causes Soreness And Pain In Right Testicle?

My right testicle is sore and painful. I ve had an ultrasound and it came back negative. I went to urologist and though an intquinal hernia and recommended I see a surgeon. The surgeon examined it and is not convinced it is a hernia at all. He is miffed and so am I. it is hard to have anyone touch it as the pain can be unbearable at times, especially after messing with it. I am scheduled to have gall bladder surgeryin 2 weeks. the surgeon said he will investigate more while I under anesthesia. I am very concerned

Problems other than cancer can also cause symptoms in the testicles or scrotum. Here are some of the more common causes of testicular symptoms, but they are not the only ones. Because it’s hard to figure out the cause based on symptoms alone, it’s important to have any testicular or scrotal change looked at by a health care professional.

Some of the conditions that can cause a testicular lump, swelling, and/or pain include:

Torsion of the testicle
Injury
Infection, including epididymitis and orchitis
Hydrocele
Varicocele
Epididymal cyst/spermatocele
Inguinal hernia
Kidney stone
its advisable that you consult the surgeon once.
