What Causes Sore Trachea, Mucus In Body And Sinusitis

I feel like my trachea is sore. I have had excessive amounts of mucous in my body. I went to the ENT and he diagnosed me with Sinusitis and prescribed me sulfamethoxale-tmp ds tablets. It had little to no effect on my condition. I am also a singer and I cannot reach my higher notes... I feel as if something is blocking the way. Please help me.

Hello,
Thanks for using HCM
You need to change the antibiotic . It is the Penicillin group like amoxyillin with clavulinic acid which is the 1st choice then it is the quinolone like levofloxacin and aminoglycosides like roxithromycin or clarithromycin which needs to be taken .
In addition you need to take antihistaminic , decongestants and anti inflammatory to get good symptom relief.
I doubt do reply
Regards
