What Causes Sore Throat, Swollen Tonsils And Difficulty In Breathing?

hi my brother has been rushed in to intensive care hes got a soar throat and his tonsels were swollen and he cant breath they have had to put him asleep for 24hrs and are trying to fit a tube down his throat to help him breathe can you please tell me what you think it could be

hello, thanks for ur query,it's an emergency leading into upper airway obstruction. grade 4 tonsillar hyper trophy with peritonsillar abscess can lead to no space for breathing , it shold be manged with intubation or tracheostomy and suitable antibiotics. all d best, take care.
