What Causes Sore Throat, Pressure In The Ears And Dizziness?
I have had a sore throat for about a year. It has gotten exponentially worse in the last month. I have had an increase in pressure in my ears. It feels like my ears are constantly full of water. When I swallow it makes a clunking noise and sometimes it is hard to swallow. Other symptoms fatigue, sometimes dizzy and sometimes vomiting, early gray hair and thinning, abdominal pain. Large lump in throat (probably thyroid) is as hard as a rock What do you think it could be
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Based on the symptoms you have described, it states that you are having upper respiratory tract infection. Large lump in the throat could be tonsil which has swollen as a result of infection. Kindly do the following to overcome it. 1. Salt water gargling with warm water twice daily. 2. Take decongest syrup containing Ambroxol/Bromhexine with Chlorpheniramine maleate and Guaphenisin. 3. Use medicated lozanges when necessary. 4. Take analgesic medication containing Ibuprofen with Paracetamol when necessary. 5. Avoid intake of cold items like cool drinks and ice creams.
