What Causes Sore Throat, Fatigue, Muscle Pain And Chest Pain?

I m a sixteen year old female, 5 3 with a weight of 104 lbs. Friday, I had a high fever of 102 Fahrenheit, chills, sore throat, high fatigue and slight headache on the left part of my brain. Saturday, the sore throat intensified but I had no fevers because I d previously taken fever reducers. Sunday, my throat got more hoarse, my voice went in and out, and I had a constant dry-heave cough that gave me chest pain in the left part of my ribs. I was highly fatigued, lost alot of taste whenever I tried to eat something, and my voice/throat/cough got even worse as the day progressed. Every now and then, the headache came back. Monday and Tuesday (today) I started feeling achy in the back of my neck and (lower) back area, the sore throat went away this afternoon but my voice is still out and the coughs have continued. All I want to do is sleep and I had a slightly elevated temperature today of 99 degrees. I seem to be having muscle pain and chest pain after a cough, when I laugh, and whenever I breathe in. I went to the doctor s office on Monday and was tested for strep throat which came back negative. Is there any other illness I can possibly be qualified for or am I okay? Should I go back to the doctor s or the hospital?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Fever, sore throat, cough, hoarse voice, headache all points to viral /bacterial involvement of pharynx/larynx.Fatigue is associated with any febrile illness. As strep is negative and fever has come down possibility of viral flu more.Take voice rest, plenty of fluids and fruit juices(warm),warm salt water gargles and a cough suppressant might make you better.
