What Causes Sore Throat, Ear Pain And Stiff Neck?

I have a mild left side sore throat, intermittent ear pain and what feels like a stiff neck on and off for several weeks.. I have had an ent take a look and they saw nothing, gave me steroids but it did not help. I also have an ulcer on the back left side of my tongue that has been there several weeks but is getting better.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related a cold or flu.
I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation.
I also suggest using an antibiotic eardrop for local application.
I recommend to gargle with salty water and drink liquids.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
