What Causes Sore Throat, Chest And Back Pain With No Fever?

Hi, I've had weird lingering symptoms for almost a month. Starts with sore throat and pain in my chest and most in my back - between my shoulder blades. I had a low fever for two weeks and started feeling better. Now a few days after no fever the sore throat and chest and back lungs area very painful. Is it viral?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
This seems to be post viral sore throat and pain is due to dry brassy cough which you might be having along with. Just do gargles with normal saline (little salt in warm water) along with some mucolytic agents like Ambroxol / Bromohexine syrup. If still feels severe pain then go to your chest physician for X ray of chest to rule out any pathology related to lungs / pleura.
Take Care
