What Causes Sore Throat And White Spots In Tonsils After Oral Sex?

Hi Doctor,I performed oral sex on my boyfriend about 3 times in 3 days at a stretch.But a day after I have been experiencing a sore throat with white spots on my tonsils.Also I had a mild fever of 99 for an hour which subsided on its own.I have performed oral sex on my boyfriend earlier also but never experienced any such irritation in the throat.I am really worried.Is it just tonslitis or some STD?Please help me...

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

As per your complain the symptoms of sore throat and white spots on tonsils seems to be due to bacterial throat infection also known as Strep throat and white spots are pus pockets formed secondary to infection..
It is not a sign of STD and can occur after oral sex if proper hygiene maintenance is not practised..
Nothing to worry, take a course of antibiotics like Augmentin for 5 days, take tylenol for pain relief, do warm saline gargles, steam inhalations, chew a vitamin C pellet daily..
Abstain from oral sex and if you do use a condom.
Drink plenty of water and take a soft diet..
