What Causes Sore Throat And Nausea After A Colonoscopy?
I am 58 & had my 1st colonoscopy today at 10am. All went well, no palyups and will return in 10 yrs. I woke up from anesthesia 30 min later with a horrible sore throats and no voice. Apparently they were concerned I was experiencing nausea, so they used tubes to suck it all out..hence the sore throats. I had chills when I returned home and a fever between 101 & 102 into the evening plus a head ache. Any explanation?
