What Causes Sore Throat And Facial Flushing?

I am a 71 yo male retired veterinarian weigh 210 and 6 1 tall. I had a nasty nasty cold and sinusitis(treated with Z-pack and fluticasone nasal spray) that lasted 3 weeks(maybe it was the flu). Now have mild persistent sore throat and facial flushing most of the time. Any ideas?

Hi,

Z-packs fail over 30% of the time and a continuing sinusitis while it heals up most of the time, does take a long time. Also, there can be some persistent inflammation that Montelukast generally fixes in about 2 hrs.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
