Hello,I have had an extremely soar throat and ear ache for 7 days now. I have been taking penicillin or 5 and ibuprofen and Tylenol for pain. Nothing is getting better infact my throat is feeling worst. The ibuprofen does help for a little while. I am getting on a plane tomorrow and my ear is so blocked im afraid something will possibly pop, aside from that any ideas.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Use hot water gargling thrice a day. Use tablet lecope-AD twice a day for five days. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams intake.

If no improvement with that antibiotic may need to change the medication. So please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
