What Causes Sore Throat Along With Ear Ache And Blocked Nose?

Hello I m a 49 year old female and I have a slight sore throat and stuffy nose and ear pain especially when I bend down. I also am a little short of breathe. I m also having on and off palpitations. I read somewhere that it could be congestive heart failure and now I m worried and getting anxious.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you do not have a previous history of heart failure this is very unlikely because heart failure does not develop suddenly unless there is a sudden loss of a lot of fluid (eg severe vomiting/diarrhea, trauma).

In addition heart failure is not associated with sore throat, stuffy nose and ear pain. These are symptoms of either allergic sinus disease or acute cough/cold.

Anxiety itself can cause palpitations and shortness of breath so this would be contributing to these symptoms.
Anxiety is a serious condition that can impact on different aspects of life so if it is severe, it should be treated.

I hope this helps
