What Causes Sore Swollen Bumps On Bottom Lip?

I woke up with two bumps on my bottom lip. One is really sore and has turned white-ish, like a canker sore. The other doesn t hurt at all, but is small and swollen. I want to know how I would get these over night, what they might be, and if they re connected.

Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

The bumps you felt on your bottom lip turning into white-ish, are indicative for possible viral infection. Possibly, you might have had:
- fever
- flu-like symptoms
recently and/or the last night,

You can upload a photo to evaluate the bumps myself. If you confirm to have had flu-like symptoms recently, anti-viral cream is advised and use of OTC anti-pyretics.

If no improvement within a few days, should consult with your doctor for further evaluations.

Wish fast recovery!
