General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Sore shoulder and neck can be part of muscle stiffness most likely from chronic restriction of movements most likely after the discectomy and fusion surgery. However, as there is tiredness associated with this, one has to rule out low hemoglobin causing anemia, alteration in blood sugar if any for this presentation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
