What Causes Sore Shoulders, Neck And Back Post Cervical Discectomy?
I had an anterior & cervical discectomy and fusion Nov. 10; I had planned on going back to work today 12/7/15 However, when I woke up this morning I felt I wasn t ready to go back to work. My shoulders neck and back are still sore and I tire easy, I m I pushing to hard to go back to work? YYYY@YYYY
Sore shoulder and neck can be part of muscle stiffness most likely from chronic restriction of movements most likely after the discectomy and fusion surgery. However, as there is tiredness associated with this, one has to rule out low hemoglobin causing anemia, alteration in blood sugar if any for this presentation.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
