What Causes Sore Perineum After Cysts Drainage During Pregnancy?

I had 2 cysts drained 2 weeks ago, tubes are still in going down my butt cleft. Now the underneath from anus to the front is a dark red color, I do 2 sitz baths followed by hydrogen proxide rinses daily. It is sore and starting to itch is this normal? What can I do to feel better, oh and I am 25 weeks pregnant.

OBGYN 's  Response
It could be due to:
1. Irritation by the tubes.
2. Hydrogen peroxide irritating the skin
3. Some sort of infection - mostly fungal one, however, the organism responsible for the cysts you had could also be responsible.
You may appy local ointmentof some steroid if the lesion is not infective. It will give you some relief. However, steroid ointment should not be used without doctors advice and prescription.
Better get your obstetrician's opinion.
Please do not neglect the condition since you are pregnant and are having responsibility of one more life on you.
