What Causes Sore Ear With No Discharge?
i have sore ears though no discharge and discomfort on both sides of my neck running down from my ears. I generally have a lot of trouble with my left ear popping. Have had this before in summertime - could it be an allergy. In the past I have been diagnosed with rhinitus. No watery eyes but sneeze often. I am female, 58 and in good health generally.

this appears to be otitis media resulting in discharge from both ear. it is bacterial infection. it is not allergy. you have to get it examined byENTdoctorandgo by his advise Tympani c membrane perforation is to be seen. Asa precaution cotton wool plug is to be used at the time of taking bath. You have to take oral or injectible antibiotic course. For treatment go by ent doctor's advise.
