What Causes Sore And Red Patches On The Tongue?

hi, im a bit worried at the moment with whats happening with my body. my period is late, last week i had really bad paid in my legs (feeling heavy) and also my whole body felt like im brused but had nothing visibal. in the past 2days i noticed that my head (beneath my hair) i have quit a lot of spots and my tongue is really sore with white & red patches.....i dont know if all these things can be related but im conserned !! cn you help?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain the symptoms seems to be due to hormonal imbalance that is leading to delayed periods, heaviness in body that can be due to water retention along with red and white patches over the tongue that can be due to Aphous Stomatitis..
I would suggest you to consult a Gynaecologist and get evaluated and she can advise you to go for ultrasonography of pelvis along with blood investigations..
She can advise you Hormone replacement therapy that can induce your mensus and even relieve other symptoms..
As of now you can gargle with a numbing mouthwash to relieve mouth and tongue pain..
You can take multivitamin supplements and a soft bland diet..
Drink plenty of cool water and suck ice..
You can also take tylenol for generalized discomfort in body and pain..
