What Causes Sore And Itchy Spots On Scalp Spreading To Ear?

I recently started getting very sore and itchy spots on my scalp that has spread to my ear, neck and jaw. They itch and burn. I also have a small lump at the base of my skull that is painful and causes me headaches. I am not sure if they are related but the lump has been there for months the sores about a week.

Hi. It could be because of seborrhoeuc dermatitis. The swelling in neck region could be enlarged lymph nodes. I suggest you to use a ketoconazole based shampoo thrice a week and to take non sedating antihistamine like
Levocetrizine orally. It should respond in a week. Thanks
