What Causes Soft Tissue Growth Between Neck And Collar Bone?

I am overweight but over the past few months I have noticed a soft tissue on the left side of my neck between my collar bone and my neck. THe tissue feels very soft and bouncy. In the past three weeks I have been having pain in that exact area. The pain is now keeping me from leaning on that arm for support among other things. I just am not sure what this could be.

Hi, thank you for asking Healthcare Magic.
A lump within a soft tissue can be from more than one cause. it could be a benign tumor like lipoma (containing fat), cyst or something else. A doctor needs to examine you before coming to a conclusion. Management may be surgical depending on the cause. I would advise you to see a general practitioner for proper appreciation.

I hope that answers your query.
I wish you well
