What Causes Snoring And Sleep Apnea?
A male has smoked for 30 years, menthol cigarettes. Now he is making snorting sounds and appears to be pursed lip breathing occasionally. He snores loudly and has sleep apnea, controlled with c pap. He make unusual sounds while awake. what do you think? I am worried he will have a heart attack.

Smoking can increase the risk of a heart attack because it can affect the blood flow in the blood vessels to the heart and also is involved in the formation of plaques in the blood vessels.
COPD is also associated with an increased risk of heart disease.
The abnormal noises themselves do not mean that he will get a heart attack but his underlying conditions put him at risk.
