I had a bladder sling operation in April and since September my urine has an antiseptic smell especially first thing in the morning. I don't have burning, or bladder infection symptoms just the odor.Is this common after surgery ? I have moved to another state and can't see the Dr. that did my surgery.
HI Well come to HCM If you do not have any symptoms like burning micturition, pain, urgency or frequency of urine then just nothing to worry, if you have recently taken any antibiotic within 24 hours then such smell is very likely, hope this information helps.
