What Causes Small Purple Bruises On The Lower Legs?

i have purple bruise like patches on my feet and lower legs that have developed over the past 6 months and look to be getting worse. primary care dox has no idea what it is and referred me to dermatologist. these are not bruises. i have RA and have been on prednisone 2+ years and i have CVID. reading about purpura as possible issue. any ideas what it could be?

Get yourself done routine lap (CBC) and check for any abnormality with cell count. Does your bruise change color on touch?
