What Causes Small Itchy And Swollen Bumps On Vagina During Pregnancy?

My vaginal region is pretty itchy, and swollen. I have found really small little bumps on the inside of the lip. They form a line. It felt like a raw rubbing feeling when trying to be sexual active. It does not burn when I pee, it s just itchy and annoying. I m 32 weeks pregnant could this just be a cause of a yeast infection?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of herpes genitalis is more.
You are pregnant and sexually active as well. Herpes infection is common in such circumstances.
So better to consult gynecologist and get done clinical examination of vagina.
You should avoid unprotected Intercourse at this time. You will need acyclovir tablet and other supportive drugs.
Avoid moisture and perspiration in private parts. Keep proper hygiene of private parts.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
