What Causes Small Bump And White Spots On Mons Pubis?
Hello. I m an 18 year old female who is sexually active with my boyfriend. I have a chronic blemish or pimple that has returned. The first time I read about them, it said it was due to my greasy, bad eating habits. Once I ate healthy, the blemish went away. I m worried now since I am with my boyfriend. We spoke about it and both of us are STD free. This problem is worrying since it s an oval bump on my mons pubis and today I saw a 3 small white spots on it- bot sure after I may have scratched it- not sure if it s just an infected hair. I am really worried.
noted history of lesions over mons pubis. it may be folliculitis or inflamed hair follicle (which usually occurs after shaving or when hair is accidentally pulled-out and it gets infected) or vaginosis. it is best if you consult with a gynecologist for physical examination and clinical evaluation. diagnostics and management will be directed accordingly. also, avoid manipulation of the area and maintenance of good hygiene is advised.
hope this helps.
good day!!
