What Causes Slurring Of Speech At The Age Of 84?
My wife has reached 84 and has a problem speaking and making sentences . She also has a problem walking. I am looking for something that will make this go away for her. I think that steroids might help her, or antibiotics. I know her doctor will have to prescribe these drugs but what are your views.

I suggest she needs a full neurological examination. She may benefit from starting a blood thinning drug.
