What Causes Sleeplessness During Perimenopause?

Hi I am 52 years old , having trouble sleeping very irritable, very short tempered and rude ,which is completely not like me ,I just don t feel like my self , my periods are lasting up to 15 days and sometimes are only weeks apart My last pap was normal and I was told I was premenopausal, is there something I can take over the counter to help, also have increasing facial hair
