What Causes Sleepiness,dizziness And Headaches?

my dad died two weeks ago and im still very emotional.im taking mirtazapine 15mg, today will be the third day,only taking half of it at night time.i fell sleepy, dizzy and headache most off the time.
My problem is that I need to go back to work next week and I dont feel ready to go yet, as Im a nursery nurse and I need to feel secure of my feeling so I can help my children during the day.
What can I do?

Mirtazapine is sedative antidepressant and after taking it, you would feel drowsy and sleepy. You can take it in half dose at night only. Better to discuss about it with your doctor. The sedative effect would stay for few weeks. In case, you are feeling problem, you can shift to another antidepressant which is less sedative like escitalopram. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
