What Causes Sleep Walking Along With A Bowel Movement?
I am so shocked. I kept smelling something in my room all day long and I just made the horrible discovery. Apparently, last night after heavy drinking I went to sleep and while sleepwalking opened my drawer, crouched over the edge of my bed and literally shat into the drawe AND THEN CLOSED IT and went back to bed, all while sleeping. This is insane to me and it must have been me, because I live alone. This isn t the first time I dispensed my waste into drawer. I have once stopped talking to a friend because I didn t believe him when he said he didn t urinate into my drawer. It happened 4 years ago and the drawer was also closed that time. Am I mentally ill?
Alcohol use can affect your actions and your memory of the actions. If the episodes are related to alcohol use then it is explained by it. If the episodes are not related to the use of alcohol then you will need to have a visit with your doctor.
On the other hand, by what you explain very likely this is related to alcohol use and an advise would be to avoid binge drinking as it may affect your cognition (thinking, memory, etc.) and might also cause hallucinations.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
