What Causes Sleep Apnea And Fatigue?

my husband has stage 3 sarcoidosis and is being treated with methotrexate,prednisolone,folic acid,omeprazole,calcichew he is suffering a lot of side effects and has been diagnosed with sleep apnea now,can it get any worse!He is constantly fatigued but has had to go back to work as a lorry driver he's been turned down for dla,should he be entitled to it,thanks for your patience.

Presence of sleep apnea is proxy indicator for many things including loose connective tissue in respiratory passage to obesity. It may also be caused by short neck.

Other than that condition known as central sleep apnea can be caused by various neuro psychiatric disorders.

You need to visit your doctor along with your husband to dentify the cause so it can be treated properly.

Regarding license I feel till he gets trested he should abstain from driving as it is risky for him as well as common public.
