What Causes Sinus Drainage While Having Food?

I am experiencing drainage, probably from sinuses. It occurs every time I eat anything. The mucus just runs out of my nose, sometimes in long strings. This happens when I eat hot or cold food, but the hot food seems to make it worse. I blow my nose frequently to rotor clear it and don t seem to produce much mucus, but when I stop blowing my nose, the runny Mose starts up again. During these episodes the mucus is clear and my nose does not feel stuffy. At other times I feel stuffed up and actually pass mucus blouses which are clear to yellow, but these experiences are different from the runny nose while eating. I usually use several napkins to try to stop the runny nose during meals and it is embarrassing and disgusting.

Consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

A CT scan is required to rule out any bony defects.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
