What Causes Side To Side Movement In Jaw While Speaking?

I am a 50 year old female currently taking-100 mg pristiq, enlyte, 35 mg generic adderall and recently had an increase in lamictal 200 mg-now 400 mg. I am experiancing a very noticble movement in my jaw when speaking. It moves from side to side, looking as if I am smirling or I may have my mouth open. I am unaware that these things are happening- but my boss approached me about health issues- that could jeopardize my job. Help- I have no clue and didn t see any side effects listed like this on any med.

Hello.the movement in your jaw can't be due to medicines. Clicking sound in jaw and inadequate movements can be due to problem at temporomendibular joint. you should get it diagnosed clinically by nearby dentist. If its myofacial pain and disorder syndrome, the reason can be stress, inadequate chewing habit, inadequate occlusion or so..
You can reconsult for further queries.
