What Causes Shoulder Pain After Blood Donation?

My daughter gave blood today, she is O+ and met the requirements, so she opted to donate double red blood cells. Now, she is complaining of pain in her right shoulder (right AC vein used for donation/transfusion). Is this pain normal after such a procedure.
