What Causes Shoulder And Arm Pain Post Herniated Disc Surgery?
Right Shoulder and arm Ache -ing over 4 weeks especially when sitting in a chair with my arm at 90 degrees bent at elbow. Now im experiencing numbness in my right hand (mainly in my thumb). I had surgery Sept. 2010 for a herniated Disc (C-6 & C-7) where a plate was fused in my neck. Starting to worry. I thought this condition would go away by now but it seems to be getting worse! i am 53 years of age.

Hello dear regarding your pain in the shoulder and arm following post herniation disc there is a temporary nerve damage which is affecting your thumb please take tramadol or Naproxen tablet for the pain folic acid tablet multivitamin capsules
