In my opinion you are having anxiety
But better to rule out cardiac and pulmonary causes first your intermittent shortness of breath
So get done
2. 2d echo
3. Holter monitoring ( 24 hour continuous recording of ECG)
If all these are normal then no need to worry much for arrhythmia
and other cardiac causes.
Get done chest x ray and PFT ( pulmonary function test ) to rule out pulmonary causes.
If all are normal, then anxiety related symptoms appear more in your case.
So better to consult psychiatrist
and get done counselling
Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution.
Avoid stress and tension.
Be relax and calm. You may need anxiolytic drugs too.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
