What Causes Shortness Of Breath On Laying Down To Sleep?
I am a side sleeper, but in the last couple of weeks i cant due to shortness of breaths.i have had to sit up in a recliner. And totally not able to get any sleep. It feels like my chest is collapsing when i lay flat. Any manual labor or just normal house work is exhausting.I do not feel sick (just tired) thoughout the day until it is time for bed and i lay down and within 5 to 10 minutes i am sitting up trying to catch a breath. Thanks in advance for any advive, Traci P.S i have no health insurance or i would go c a docter, this is why i was just asking
As you have mentioned in your history I can say you are suffering from severe chest infection. For this you have to take Tab Levofloxacine 500 mg once daily or Tab Linezolid 600 mg twice daily after meals for at least 5 days along with tab akilos-p or tab utracet twice daily after meals if pain is there with tab levocetrizine twice daily after meals and cap omez or cap pantop twice daily empty stomcah. If you are feeling difficulty in breathing you can also take tab deriphylline or tab salbutamol twice daily after meals. Above all these you also have to take steam inhalation at least three to four daily as it is very helpful in relieving the congestion and tightness of your chest which is very distressing.
