What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Dizziness With Empty Stomach?

When my stomach is empty, and I haven t eaten in a while, I get short of breath and I feel like I ve been socked in the gut. And I get dizzy and feel like I m going to pass out.I was thinking it is gallbladder problems, but my Doctor is thinking it is an ulcer. I was scoped last year and everything looked great. But O did have an excessive amount of acid in my stomach. What can be wrong? I am an otherwise healthy 49 year old female. My father had an ulcer all his life. Thank you, Milissa

Well, heredity is important as for all health problems in stomach problems too, especially in ulcer problems, so the doubts still exist even the normal upper endoscopy of the year before. Anywhere you can try on some PPI for a while (one month i.e) like Omeprazol er Pantoprasole or Lansoprasole. This will be a therapeutic trial just to make us more sure of "accusing hyperacidity" as the cause of your symptoms.
