What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Dizziness In An Elderly Person?

I am a 59 year old female and have been having shortness of breath, heaviness in my chest, coughing and dizziness. My doctor did and EKG which turned out ok, but my BP was a little high. He prescribed a Beta Blocker. I have taken them for 3 weeks now and still having same symptoms.

Hai,
shortness of breath, heaviness in my chest, coughing and dizziness are more likely to be symptoms associated with heart problem. the symptoms persist on the same area and increase while you are at some work like walking or lifting etc then kindly go back to your physician and do Cardiac stress test and other associated investigation for proper diagnosis.

Regards
Dr.S.Senthilnathan
