What Causes Shortness Of Breath Along With Dizziness?
Hi Yesterday I went to the doctor cause I was short of breath and light headed with any work that I did like hanging up washing etc I felt like I was going to pass out. Anyways the doc gave me an ecg but everything seemed fine till i had to walk on the treadmil apparently what concerned him was a downward spike on the egc. What does that mean?
I would like to review your ECG, if you can upload it on this site. Considering your symptoms and the ECG changes, I would recommend performing some other tests: - a coronary angio CT scan or nuclear perfusional cardiac stress test to investigate for coronary artery disease - a Doppler ultrasound of the carotid arteries, considering the episodes of lightheadedness. I would also recommend monitoring your blood pressure, because blood pressure fluctuations can trigger this clinical situation. Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
