What Causes Short And Light Periods?

Ok well I Usually Get My Periods OnThe 3rd Of Each Month BUT May I Was A Week Late , It Came On The 10th And It Only Lasted Until The 13th Or 14th , And The Period Was Light , And My Periods Usually Lastes A Week . June Came Around And No Bleeding/Period . But Today I Started Bleeding And It Was Light . What Could This Mean And What Should I Do ?

Dear- thanks for using our service and will try to help you with my medical advise. Menstrual period can have months that are heavier than others. This is part of variations in hormones . It can be normal and you should not worry about it. However, if you want to have further evaluation, it will be advisable to have a hormone test, including TSH,LH ,FSH and estrogen levels .That will give more information of the irregularities.
