What Causes Shivering In Baby After Taking Nap?

I noticed yesterday when I picked my one year old up after taking a nap his bottom lip was quivering. He was not cold. It stopped after a min. Then did the same after today s nap? Two nights ago he also had his hands clenched tight when going to bed which he never does. He has hypercalcimia however his levels were just checked and they are fine. What could this be? Megan

Hi...by what you quote I feel that this quivering of lips and clenching of fists are related to calcium metabolism itself. But the test should have been taken when he has the symptoms and rather than total calcium - ionized calcium is more important. I suggest if this is recurring you get back to the nearest emergency room.
