What Causes Shivering And Stump Pain After The Third Angioplasty?

My 62yo dad underwent a lower limb amputation in May this year. This month, he had to go for his 3rd angioplasty (2nd one being in Apr this year) since 2010 when he did his heart bypass ops and immediately, hemodialysis due to his kidneys damaged as a consequence of the heart bypass. He was discharged yesterday and has been shivering throughout. He is also feeling pain on his stump, something that he had not felt prior to his 3rd angioplasty. Is his symptoms something to be concerned about?

Hi thanks for using healthcaremagic
Shivering could be due to some infection...
Please check Urine for any infection.Check for any redness or swelling at the site cannula insertion.
If the above things are normal it is better to inform the doctor because other investigations are required like blood count and blood culture tests
thank you...
